I have this little thing growing out of my live rock right next to my Jack O Lantern Lepto. The sticky guide says hyroids usally go away on their own as the tank progresses, but should I try to go after this with something since it's right next to my frag or leave it alone (assuming it is a hydroid of some kind)?

It's essentially hitting the frag, so I'm sure whatever I would use to kill it would do some damage to the frag.

P.S. Don't mind my hair algae--I've been working on it for a while...

Yes it is. Placing a dab of gel superglue from the dollar store over the top of it will put it to the end
