My tabk has a break out of hydroids and they are killing off corals left and right...Does any one have any tips on how to get rid of them?

CONSTANT picking at them. Razor blades, dremel, wire brushes, tweezers, and any other tools that might come in handy.

I plucked hydroids out of one of my tanks for atleast 6 months in order to kill most of them.

Also whenever you see the tiny star-like things on your glass, these are hydroids in the non-polyp stage of their life, remove them asap.

Goodluck, it is going to be a tough battle!

Yea it really sucks, but it is not impossible to beat!

The wire brush and tweezers work the best ime.

Goodluck!

Can you to take some pictures of the coral(s). There are different methods for removing different kinds of hydroids on different surfaces.
