Hello!
I picked up a Trachy that looks like it has hydroids growing on its skeleton. I will post pics once the lights come on, but I wanted to know what the best practice would be for removing/killing off the hydroids without jeopardizing the health of the coral.
I did some reading this morning and it looks like dipping does not work on hydroids. The general consensus seemed to be either kalk paste or putty over it. One of them is pretty close to the flesh, so I wasn’t sure what approach would be best.
Thank you for your input and advice!
