So I've had these all over my tank for years. They haven't grown and the don't seem to affect anything they touch corals or fish, etc. they are translucent and usually single. Can anyone help me out. What are these...
I believe they're just a small form of feather dusters. I have a bunch on a couple of my rocks. If you look closely, do they have tubes? I believe mine have red tubes.
I hope your right, they have very small clear tubes. At least they look clear. Im going to try to get some additional images. I really don't want hydroids.
Most hydroids die off over time. Almost just part of the "uglies" cycle when most people get them. If you've had them for years with no ill-effects, I wouldn't fret.
