Hydroids? They're reproducing like crazy! What to do?

Hey all,

These hydroids(?) have been reproducing like crazy. Any idea how to get rid of them? I think every person I ask has given me a different answer. Here are a few short videos of them:

Starve them by directing water flow towards them- Not at them and they won’t be able to eat and wilt away
Some rabbit fish will eat them but a gamble

Sorry, what do you mean by towards, but not at them? Thanks!

You want to direct water flow sweeping across them to prevent them from capturing food. Pointing flow at them may disturb coral and sand bed

if you dose amino acid's, stop. this feeds them. target feed more rather than broadcast feed.
