A few of these have popped up recently on a live rock. They’re quite pretty — greenish gold — and they fluoresce. Keep or cover with kalk paste?

I don't think so. I have had aiptasia many times, and these aren't them. These are teeny tiny things, are the wrong colour, and fluoresce.

I've got some Aiptasia X (which took care of my majanos). Worth a shot, or go straight for the kalk? I don't want to cook the rock, which has a lovely mushroom colony on it.

The Aiptasia-X seems to have gotten rid of the first round. I'll be watching closely for recurrences.
