Hydroids!

I was told to take out and just brush off. I did but they just came back in a few days. Any other method to clean up this Monti frag?

Get thes out of your tank. I shut down a tank over hydroids once.

No , don’t really want one. Had one few years ago. Any other way?

I tried putting kalkwasser paste on the LR. Didn't work. I literally took out live rock and hit the surface with a blow torch one rock at a time once a week. Hydroids grew back faster than I could torch. The best way to remove them was to drain the tank and put the rock on my deck.

It’s just one frag at the moment I believe. I def have others around but not concentrated like in Monti frag

Up to you. See what the hive mind says. My vote is to get a new monti frag.
