There are some threads on this, but my pics differ slightly.

Are these digitate hydroids? The white fluffy growths on my frags.

If so, I don't think I can nuke the tank with fenbendazole or panacur. Nothing seems to eat them, not blue legged hermit crabs, kukenthali shrimps, or the cleaner shrimp. my sea hare is in the refugium now gorging on random soft algae (he didn't touch the hydroids).

Any advice? Internet's seems split on either leave it be and it'll go away, to omg get the flamethrower now.

Also is this particular type below bad for coral? I can't quite tell - there's some growing on a plating monti but the monti seems unfazed. Most of my zoas are still open too.

The hydroids are spreading and growing. Hope not to have an infestation.

Ya, colonial hydroids. I don't think any of them are actually 'good' but some are more harmful (sting corals) than others. I've never done anything for the ones in my tank and they just seemed to not thrive. I believe they can be bad though if they prosper. Should be lots of searchable info on this forum.
