Hydroids

I just noticed some hydroids something I’ve never heard of or seen until now. I asked a friend what they are…and I did some googling and got mixed answers but I scraped them off. Are they good…bad? Is there a way to keep them at bay?

From everything I’ve heard, they’re pretty common in newer tanks and they pretty much just go away on their own.

hard to see. They could be micro brittle stars, are those legs/tentacles touching the glass or not?

If they are, maybe micro brittle. If not, prob hydroids yeah

I would be concerned if I was you,my previous tank had them all over the place,they don’t sting like aptasia but reproduce.
