Hydros Wifi Power Blocks

Are the Hydros Wifi Power Blocks just standard Wifi outlet blocks using the Tuya Smart Home system? The individual one looks identical to the ones I have used for home automation under different brand names. They will do on/off through Apple Homekit / Home Assistant / Tuya Smart Home App / Alexa along with scheduling.

The wifi strips and plugs are Tuya protocol, but I am not sure you would have control of them other than through the hydros once they are paired with the Hydros controller.
