I have been in the hobby forever and ha e never used a full on controller and I am pretty tech illiterate.

I am looking into a heater for my 25 gallon tank. I want something very good, and I was looking at the new IM heaters, but they are priced near a controller.

Will the following controller operate a titanium heater element?

Thanks in advance

I would not recommend using any one device to control heaters. I have a Hydros that controls my two heaters but the heaters I use have their own thermostat also. Those are set 3 degrees higher than the Hydros. Each heater is on a separate outlet. That way it takes more than one failure at the same time to cause a major issue. Also some people use Inkbird's as a primary control and the Hydros as a backup. Here is a link to a Hydros workshop on heaters.
