I've heard about it but not really the results.
Maybe the squad can fill in here as I can't tell you much about it.
I had them a long tome ago but the only way to get rid of them completely is treating your rock out the tank.
I've heard also hobbyist using dewormer on them.

I've heard the ones I have called digitate. The long thing string looking kind. Thanks twilliard! How do I use this product?

Yes those are what we call "digitate" hydroids although there is no conclusive species name as of now.
Fenbendazole takes care of these but there is a lot of information involved for consideration.
For instance depending on tank style and water flow snails such as turbos will require a few months before adding to the tank.
Hold on and I will get you my thread on this...

Awesome thank you very much! So does the fish medicine need to be separated like the one for dogs?

That's way better than pulling all the coral for seven days! I'm gonna give it a shot twilliard. I will admit I've been rolling the dice since I started not having a QT. I've been lucky and this will give me the perfect opportunity to set one up finally! Thanks again man I really appreciate the help!

Fenbendazole will solve it ;)
Whoops one last question. I have about 175gls of water to treat and a bta in there as well. Your write up said you used 4 grams. What is that power gallon in your system, and will the nem be alright? I just ordered 12 250mlg packs of it. Thanks

There is confusion on that 4mg part. I have to go correct this as it was 4g packets I had to seperate. This was before I found the pure form of fenbendazole.
It comes down to 1.5mg per gallon so 3/4 packet of fish Bendazole will treat your whole tank volume.
Please be aware of the affected corals and snails.
A quick cleanup is needed for rapid introduction of snails.

Wow that's crazy! They quoted me $150 for the treatment!!!! I think I paid $24 for it off ebay.
