Just picked one of these up after a thread here recommended it.

1600gph? More like liters per hour.

My plan was to use it to replace a dying MP10, and I am not a fan of that pump.

The Hygger is a superior pump in all respects except 1. It moves half the water at max speed compared to the MP10, and the MP10 is rated at less max waterflow.

Anybody else have one of these?

I have 3. Two in a 30g with a 900gph return pump running at 70% and one in a biocube 14. I never pay attention to water flow ESPECIALLY with propeller style wave makers. It's a nano pump rated for like 5-30g. I new they weren't going to be powerful. I have the two in the 30g cranked up to maximum power on all cycles and the one in the biocube turned all the way to lowest power on all cycles.

I have one in my 24 inch cube and I also have an MP40QD. The Ecotech does almost all of the heavy lifting. The hyggar pump just adds accent. It is correct that although there are several settings for this pump. Regardless of which one you pick it won’t push water more than maybe 8 inches. I have the Hyggar heater/controller and the doser. Those are good budget products. This one is OK but it certainly is less than impressive if you are looking for water movement.
