Are you doing True hypo at 1.009? I use prazi in a salinity of 1.019 with no differences, but I've never tried it at true hypo. I wouldn't think there would be a problem though.

I agree, I am pretty sure I have done this without issue but be more gradual with the dosing in this case because this may heighten sensitivity

Yes I am doing true hypo. I'm at 1.09. Was wondering. I dosed today for the first time using hypo. Fish with flukes seem relieved. Curious to see how long this is gonna take. Plan on doing 3 doses with water changes in between every 4-5 days

I don't think doing more than two will be needed. I'd wait and see if it's warranted before going ahead and doing it. Dose once, then do a water change 24 hours later. Dose again 5 days after the first.

So I should do a water change sometime tomorrow after dosing today? Then wait another 5 days to dose again? I thought instructions said to dose then wait 3-4 days. Have to go back and check
I still see flukes on the fish

It usually takes 24 hours for Prazi to do it's magic. i'm sorry I misspoke in my last post.... you'll do a water change after 48 hours. The usual protocol is to wait 5-7 days before dosing again. Your wanting all the eggs to hatch so you can kill them with the last round.

Ok. I follow now
So how soon should I see the flukes disappearing or falling off?

I've seen them 12 hours later, but you have to know what to look for. Odds are you won't see much because they are small, or get sucked into the filter- whatever. But I've seen them dead on the bottom of the tank.

Mine must be extra large then. I can see them clearly. Mine look like little pieces of popcorn or more like cauliflower

Mine is more on the body. Couple spots here and there
I'm gonna look up fish diseases and there pictures. I beleive it is more bacterial than anything I notice it on my small hippo and zoster pyramid butterfly and a yellow and white pyramid butterflies. He also has Popeye which causes me to beleive it is flukes. Also notice beginning stages of Popeye on a female bellus angel also

Yes that's why I began prazipro yesterday. Doesn't seem like I did much or anything at all hence the title of this thread. Patience is key so I'm just observing before I do second dose tomorrow

Prazi is for parasites you need something for an infection you could possibly do both but I don't know about that humble fish and melypr1985 should be able to help you with that answer.

What do you think about melafix?
I'll wait to hear others responses and waiting on humble fish and melypr1985
Hopefully by today I'll know what my next step of action is

I wish I could. I've been trying to figure out how to take a picture with my iPhone and upload/download it here. If someone has a number I can text the pics too and post for me would be greatly appreciated
I may have more than one thing going on it seems like. Definitely flukes cause of the Popeye. Doing 2nd treatment today since 1st treatment doesn't seem like it did much. I researched diseases/bacteria/parasite pics to see if any looked like mine and didn't see any
