Im doing hypo in my dt and its been 5 days at 1.009 and still signs of ick normal?

Unfortunately, it isn't too uncommon. You should see fewer signs of it but it won't be completely gone in that short period of time. This is complicated by the fact that some species of Cryptocaryon Irritans (Marine Ich) are immune to hypo so it isn't guaranteed to be effective. It does slow down the reproduction cycle of all strains though.
