I have my tank at 1.009-1.010 salinity. I've had fish for over 4 years in here and they're still doing great. I decided to start with a GSP as a test coral. I'm only dosing Reef Buffer once to twice a week. I'm wondering if I can house a coral in salinity that low or will they just end up dying. Nitrate 8ppm, phosphate under .2ppm, alkalinity 8, ammonia 0, pH 7.5.

I’m pretty sure they will wither away. Can get away with some macro algae if you wanted though I think.
So if I wanted to have coral I should slowly raise the salinity and sit at around 1.025?
