Hyposalilty or copper treatment for Tangs?

I understand I cannot do both but I am wondering which is better for tangs. Is a bare bottom tank a must for hyposalility? Thank you!

Copper all day long IMO for tangs.

Copper power at 1.75ppm using the Hanna checker to monitor is what I use!

If not, both methods you mentioned should work.

No, a bare bottom tank is not required for hypo. Folks have even done it successfully in a display. However, sand/rock might interfere with your copper treatment by absorbing it.
