I’d on some corals I recieved

A local reffer broke down his tank and had 3 five gallon buckets of corals that needed a home, they had no heaters and I don’t know how long they were in the buckets before I got them. With the help of a very knowledgeable local reffer I was able to save quite a few of them and need any id on a couple what appear to be encrusting corals.

1st pic maybe favia/favites, I’m thinking different montis for the other pics. Digitata and some encrusting one are the two that pop out most to me

I'm not sure about the first one, but the second looks like a variety of montipora cap, but maybe it's different encrusting variety like sunset montipora? The third one definitely looks like digitata to me as well. They are some bright colored frags a lucky find!

Did you dip the corals and look for pests. Hard to say but almost looks like possibly a flatworm in the last pic. Plus all the tissue loss.

I did dip them in Bayer, no pests besides some bristle worms and a single aptasia. I believe the corals were stuff that broke off when he tore down his tank. The tissue loss may have come from sitting in a cold bucket, almost all have recovered and a re looking really good. I do qt all of my coral before they go into my tank.

It's amazing the recovery SPS corals can make when put back into a healthy tank. I'm glad your gave them a good home and rescued them.

I kept some for myself and gave away most of them.
