Your photos are rubbish and just second guessing as you can not identify what's in your aquarium, either or, who knows... Maybe some type of worm

could just be a dead spot where fish poop collects. have you tried using a turkey baster to blow around that area?
Was cleaning all the low flow areas out and spotted this. Just wanted a quick I’d from someone who may have seen similar in their tank before cleaning it up.

I can see what you're asking about, but I don't know what it might be - sorry. Hopefully someone who can help you will chime in.

Agree probably detritus that settled esp it doesn’t move. I’d siphon it out w some tank maitenance.

Wanted to throw this out there. Rick’s Reviews is British. They use that term and speak with those expressions in England. Might be equivalent to us in America saying “Your pics are bad.” I was thrown off at first then thought a little about it. I doubt he was trying to be hateful. But that’s just my opinion, I don’t know him or can speak for him.

Most likely- I have a giant turbo snail that’s been perched by there the last few days. Seems he’s found a conveniently low flow area to create a toilet.
