I’m a little concerned

I’ve been monitoring this new growth on my toad stool coral. Should I be concerned do I need to detach it?

Thank you so much.... so it's not hurting my guy I'm open to just leaving my tank as natural as I can.

I have a few sponges in my tank that look like this, they seem to be all in shady places, which would make sense it's on the base of a toadstool.

I don't think the sponge could hurt the toadstool, but that doesn't mean that the toadstool won't get P.O with it later. I would still keep a eye on it.
