Can someone ID this for me, it’s closed right now but it opens up almost like an anemone, it has also moved across my tank overnight

Looks like an aiptasia to me... aiptasia is considered a pest.

he does, though he's kinda dark and has short tentacles here, maybe its a optical illusion, I'd reckon it is a species of aiptasia or a very very close relative
