Yesterday I cleaned out a saltwater mixing brute with citric acid. I used the pump to circulate water and clean the mixing pump itself and the heater too. Within 30-minutes everything was totally clean.
I dumped the acid mixture of about 5-cups citric acid to 15 gallons of water and then thoroughly hosed out the brute and hosed off the pump and heater while they were in the bottom of the brute.
Then I dumped 2-gallons of RODI water into the brute swished it around, dumped that and left everything to dry.
Today, I put 8-gallons of new RODI in the brute to start heating some water and plugged in the pump and heater.
I then realized that I didn’t run / plug in the pump in fresh water after being in citric acid solution, I just rinsed it.
So there could be some critic acid in the middle of the pump and now in my fresh RODI.
I think this should be fine, right?
I have sensitive acros.
Thanks.
