Hi guys, ok setting up my first quarantine tank today for the clowns that I want to add soon to the Display tank. I think I may have added too many pvc tubes. Can someone please help and give me some tips?

Also I wanted to add a Goby at the same time. Do I need to add send to the QT then?

Here is how it looks

Thanks

What are you using for biological filtration?
I’m using some ceramic bags from aquaclear, but on a deep blue 15 filter. I hate this filter but is the one I have to spare. I’m using the carbon cartridge now but will remove once I add copper. I added 2 of the aqueclear 50 ceramic bags.

Have they been used on a already cycled tank?

You really need to have a seeded biological filter, such as a sponge filter or some sort that's been used in a set up tank.
I've seen where people use products like Dr Tims One and Only, but it's best to use something already seeded with bacteria.

I do not think you can have too much hiding areas IMO. The more "structure" you have I would assume the safer the fish feels.
Fish naturally stay near structure for their home and for protection.

Just make sure you do not have so much that it becomes a detritus trap.
