aah thank you!! it is xenia so it's pretty strong, mostly im scared of ammonia spikes if this polyp dies, ive never beheaded a coral beforehi,nothing ..will heal on own ,looks like zenia ,anthillia,very hearty

apologies if this isnt really an emergency, i've kept FOWLR (or near fowlr, i had 2 corals) for years and only just started diving into corals recently lol!i feel so dumb, but i managed to rip a polyp off it's stem on accident. what do i do?

You can always edit the thread and remove the emergency badge. Xenia naturally dump heads so taking a single one off shouldnt be to bad

I've used a 3/8 tube while doing water changes scrap it off with the hose and suck up what falls off worked ok got rid of a patch that traveled across my tank somehowLet me know if the xenia doesn't make it, I've been looking for a way to dispatch mine...
