I do so love this hobby, but I can't seem to stay with it for more than 5-10 years at a time, without life getting in the way. In the last 3 years, my tank has not been given the attention that it should have been, due to my businesses and that I have been gone virtually every weekend.
Little repairs have been let slip by (my ATO level sensor quit on me a month ago & my calcium reactor needs a new pump for about a year, now). And the clam and leather have simply become too big. I just don't see me getting around to taking care of what needs to be taken care of . To that end, I am selling my entire system, and maybe in another 5 or 10 years, assuming I am still drawing breath, I will do it all over again.
So here is the deal, 60-cube (24x24x24) w/ stand.
This is what it looked like when it was about a year old:
Equipment:
2 x EcoTech MP10
ASM G1X Skimmer
Avast Sea Bones Calcium Reactor (no regulator or bottle, needs pump)
1 ATO top off pump (BRS) (old photo shows 4, no longer)
APEX Neptune Controller with 2 x EB8, & ethernet
GFO/Calcium Reactor
EcoTech Radion (Gen 1 with upgraded lenses)
2 x 150W (I think) heaters
4-Stage RO/DI system w/ 2 x 32 gallon brute garbage cans.
Various and sundry test kits (multiple Henna), chemicals, and salt.
Various and sundry tools.
In the tank:
Something to the tune of 60# of rock that is covered in polyps of multiple type, and some encrusting coral.
8-9" Derasa (5+ years in this tank)
8-10" Tyree leather (Grown over 4 years from Dave3112 frag)
Bartlett's Anthias (5+ years in this tank)
Blue/Green Chromis (5+ years in this tank)
Yellow Watchman Goby (5+ years in this tank)
Scopas Tang (5+ years in this tank)
Pair tank-raised percula clowns (obviously male and female, but I have never had fry) (4+ years in this tank)
6-Line Wrasse (5+ years in this tank)
2-3 Brittle stars
Scarlet crab
Various snails.
I would like to sell it all, and do not intend to part it out, as if I had the time to do 100 CraigsList deals, I would have time to take care of it the way I should. I am accepting the first best offer of $1000 or more. I would also like to know, at a minimum, that the animals are going to someone who knows how to care for them, but I guess I can't be picky.
