Check out this tread, i have seen his tank in person and he has crazy the growth and colour. I would also have thought you would cook your corals at such high par but he says they just get used to it.

Here is a interesting talk by Dana Riddle MACNA 2016, regarding Alk / light and water motion. He recommends a much lower light level for healthy SPS growth, rather focusing on increased flow and stable alk.


Either way following along since I have had luck keeping sps 5 inches under a 1st gen AI Sol slowly dialed up to 100%

No way in the nation of tar would I run 100% intensity. I do run to 50% intensity on my Kessil 360's with T5's.
