I am Henry, new to reef hobby

Welcome to Reef2Reef! It sounds like you are having some challenges with your reef tank. Rechecking your water parameters is a good place to start.

Unfortunately, no one knows what causes stn for sure. I have found that my setosa colony will rtn a little if temp gets to 81f. It has happened twice so far. Alk swings, temp swings, and any other shift in parameters may cause rtn or stn.

Look at your Salinity, pH Calcium and Alkalinity levels.

I suggest conducting a complete testing of all water parameters and posting here. Then we can provide more targeted suggestions.
