I have been doing a lot of research for my new 350 Reefer and came across a lot of feedback that the Sump isn't any good and you need to modify?

It got quite confusing - any owners out there that can point me in the right direction of what I do or don't need to do please?

I have the 250 reefer, and I think the sump is great! I did add a protein skimmer and some bio media, but tank is doing great. My nitrates are high, so I just purchased a sulfur denitrator, since I don't have a refugim to help, will update shortly on this unit. Your fine, but we all like to mess with our sumps!! :-)

It depends on what do you want to do with sump, I think for the typical set up you are good to go, but some people want to add a lot of equipment in the sump thats why they end up modifying it. If you can share the feedbacks of what makes it a bad sump and what modifications are usually made so we can help you more, because the question is very vague.
