For a few of us in the UK, the new ATI had landed! 
It was finally time to replace the cheapo hydroponics T5 unit with something nice. I had ATI's previous LED Powermodule which I got about 4 years ago. In terms of overall features you now get Wifi and new LED clusters which include Purple, Actinic and Cyan diodes amongst the usual diode lineup like Royal Blue, Blue and white etc.
So the wifi works rather like your router; it sends a wifi signal which you can connect to using any device. I managed to connect my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to the ATI light within a minute.
There is no longer a small display on the controller. Its all over wifi now for controlling the light.
I am well happy with the unit. My tank is going through a dino issue currently, but with the new light I'll feel motivated to update my tank thread etc.
