I currently have an AI Prime 16HD over my IM 14G tank. Since I don't have any corals, I just kinda winged the lighting so I could see things better. Since I'd like to get corals soon, I wanted to spend some time to get a good lighting schedule going.
I decided to scale down the Saxby setting from AI. I spent the afternoon plotting the data points in Excel, reducing the intensity by 40% and rebuilding it in the app.
Toward the end of rebuilding it, I realized if you used two fingers you could proportionally scale things up and down, and move the on / off time. OMG, RIP the past 4 hours of my life.
The software is much slicker than I thought, I wish they would have included a better instruction manual. Need to spend more time going over the resources on their website.
So overall, I spent 4 hours doing what I could have done in 30 seconds....and feel like the dumbest man alive.
