I beat Dino!

Pretty simple actually. I ran Phosguard during an approximate 80 hour blackout. After the blackout I removed the phosguard and treated the system with DinoX (from BRS) for 2 days. And that's about it. I'm currently dosing Nopox and beefed up my cuc. (phosphates were 0.25, nitrates 0.0)...
Edd!

you guys were write: looks like its creeping back... :/
Give it some time man, just suck it out every chance you got. Or blow it off and use some floss or socks frequently. Itll go away eventually

Wish that was true. Dinos only go away when everything else is dead, including the water. And not every species is same, behaves the same, or is treated the same.

Yup but i dont think edd has the toxin variety. And thats a broad statement, theres tons of threads where dinos went away with time. But i understand, dinos is very very tuff thing to deal with regardless the species. Best bet is to syphon it out, and try using something to compete with it. Wether its live rock, bacteria, new refugium and so on.

No but I'm about to order one from Amazon.
I did overfeed one, the day of palooza, dropped in too much Rods Food. I can't image one over feeding can do that.
I have a gha issue too. I was going to get a Lawnmower Blenny for that.
But the Dino is brown and ugly. This is just frustrating....

If you have dinos, and seems like you don't know which dinos, ID first before you add any more livestock. your GHA might be the only thing kinda controlling it right now.

I'll give it a little bit, maybe dose h2o2. But I'm done with this crap...

I changed the light schedule to start 2 hours later, lowered down the red/green and white. Let's see if that helps

Any updates? I haven't seen any luck from folks changing lighting schedules.
Yup. Looking good! I've been feeding less and shortened my light schedule. I had the lights running about 12+ hours.

Just an update:
The dyno hasn't come back but I do have GHA growing more than usual now.
I got a Sally Lightfoot and Lawnmower Blenny. I hope they TCB :)

I took this picture last week.

@Hemlawk Any update on the dino. Would you call Dino-X a success? Curious to see what is your Dino situation since your last update. Hope it never came back.

The Dino never came back but I did get Bryopsis shortly after that. Fluconezole took care of that.
No current algae problems. Cuc and Sally Lightfoot doing work :) But I currently have high Phos/NO3 so I'm dosing Nopox.
