Hello,

long story short, first reef tank. Brother messed with the lights and when I noticed, I brought them back up wayyy too quickly almost killing my corals. I took some pics today. It’s been like 4 days since I decreased the lights. Is there hope for my guys? I have also have an sps and no pic but it’s bleaching

lower light intensity (as you already did), maybe lower than what it was at before your brother messed with it. slow bring it back up to where you want it.

if this intensity was set too high for too long, than yes, corals are probably bleached/dying. some can still be salvageable.

I burned mine early on as well. Most recovered nicely over a month or so. ( Mine had no skeleton showing though......)

Do you think waiting for now is okay then?
