Anyone else have this problem?

Move this coral there , try this one over there? What about a different pump for flow- now to much flow, put it back to the go pump, adjust return line flow patterns - move this rock, change the lighting pattern

I can’t stop - need to just stop and relax and watch and enjoy

Initially I was the same way, until I realized I was actually doing more harm than good. The tank and corals need time to settle down. Now I don't mess with things unless I see that it is unhappy, meaning a coral. I usually wait a few weeks to see how it responds and then move it if needed.

For me, it’s my first sump. I sneeze and something changes. Lol. Seriously, I read I should shut off pumps to feed (food does go down overflow), ok. Then skimmer goes crazy (to much water in sump). Turn skimmer off. ATO goes crazy. Turn ATO off. Turn all back on 15 min later. Ok, I have a KASA strip which makes it easier. But when I turn everything back on, maybe minor adjust to gate valve, maybe skimmer needing to be emptied because it filled. LOL

And I’ve moved my aquascaping around a few times. Nothing glued, so easy to change. But I feel you. I want to sit and just look at it, but even then, I notice something needs to be cleaned, or moved, or something!

I have learned,the more you change the less progression you get. My problem was lighting. Changing leds in my diy light,going to t5 hybrid to all leds,then to t5's and different leds and it never led to anything good.

But the longer I left those changes,the more progression I would see. Even if it was a week,then I wouldn't learn and would change things again lol. Its a struggle. This go I am trying to leave things as stable and long term as possible to defeat those issues.
