I can haz starfish?

I noticed this little guy tonight. It's about half the size of a dime and when it moves around it looks like it glides (very slowly). My first guess is a starfish of some sort?

Looks like an asterina starfish. Usually considered an unwanted hitch hiker because of how quick their population grows.
Also, some people claim that they may eat certain zoas.

+1 I've had them in larger populations and yes they sat on top of my zoas and palys.
Red slime looks like cyano bacteria.

Also worth mentioning many people leave them be as they typically aren't coral eaters and at least haven't multiplied quickly in any of my tanks.

A risk, perhaps, like most hitchhikers, but there isn't by any means universal agreement that they're bad even though there are certainly bad ones.
