So initially I was going with a 90 gallon Sca tank. I already have a 120 gallon acrylic sump and a life reef vs3-36 skimmer. But I am finding myself looking up youtube videos of the redsea reefer 250/350 tanks. I really only have room in the living room for a 36" tank but I might be able to squeeze a bigger one in.
My other dilemma is with the 120 gallon acrylic sump which I wanted to make it a basement sump. But the two major disadvantages for me are the added cost of energy for bigger heaters and pump and spiders. I live in a rural area and we get big spiders in the basement. I hate spiders. So what should I do?

Have the perimeter of your house sprayed for bugs regularly and buy the bigger heater?
And don't end up like this guy!!

Anyone help me decide?? If I go with a reefer 250 is it even worth doing basement sump with a 120 gallon sump?

Or should I get a Sca 90 Gallon? My LFS said they can get me a reefer 350 for 1450 if they keep the sump that comes with it. I cant decide!!

Would you be getting the SCA 90 gallon cube? I'm a fan of the Red Sea tanks from what I've seen. They're very nice.

Initially I planned on getting the Sca 90G cube but I really want a longer tank. I want tangs, butterfly, and foxface lol. I just don't know if I should go with a reefer 350 or the 36" 90g.

Ok so I can't do a 4 foot tank because of space restrictions in my living room. So, now it comes down to....

Red Sea Reefer 250
Or
Sca 90 gallon 36 x 24 x 24
