I have a snail that I believe is some form of hairy triton snail, though it is small it has the appearance and temperament of larger hairy Triton snails I saw pics of.

Currently it is about 1inch, or comparitive in size to a margaritta snail.
It is hairy. (hard to tell from pics, but it has bristles like a emerald crab legs)
It eats other snails.
It is extremely nocturnal, doesn't even like blues.
Has a snout like a nass snail... but longer. Also it hunts nass snails, and especially bumblebee snails as they too slow to escape. I watched it run one down, grab it flip it over and eat it. I had a dozen of those snails...after it ate the first one the others got captured and killed within a few days. Apparently it decided it liked them.

Read up on the whelk. Apparently it eats anything it can catch, and only meat. Might need to reconsider letting it stay in my tank. Thanks guys.
