I've been seeing some large worms in my tank the past several months. I haven't noticed any issues from them at all and have left them be.

I finally managed to catch one just now is this good or bad worm? Pretty sure it's a Fire worm.

I attached some of the better pics I could grab quickly. Any advice on what to do with this thing? I hate killing anything that hasn't caused problems to be honest.

What's everyone's thoughts?

Most people say pest, I say pests some say clean up crew. Brissel Worm

They can sting you so dont touch. They can also sting things in the tank. So I ensure with coral dips I don’t get them. Toss it out and if you see more remove them if that’s your choice :)

Looks like a run of the mill bristle worm. Some hate them, some love them. Others don't care one way or another unless they are of plague proportions. My stance is that I love them and use them has an indicator of how much I'm feeding. They are good at cleaning up left over food. Again, that is just my opinion by it looking like my bristle worms.

Good guys. Just don’t grab them with your bare fingers. :)

Thanks for the confirmation everyone:)

It's in my 10 gallon now. I've seen about 6 of these come out at a time if I over feed the main tank. They don't look like the pics of 'bad fireworms at all, imo.
