My 125 gal reef tank only a few months old now
What do you guys think im worried and im not sure if my rocks look dumo the way they are. My only conditions are they cant touch the overflow walls cause im going to have those completely covered in GSP eventually and i like as much open sand area as possible. Also i intend to have lots of corals all over the rocks so with that in mind do you think it will turn out looking alright??
Also can i place frags at a 90 degree angle to the rocks will they still grow up or will they look dumb??

I have a 6' 125 at the moment. I scaped mine with my rock structures to the center middle of the tank to allow for flow around the back of the structures. This will help with detrius removal.

It's a personal choice and you layout is good for coral growth. Here's mine:

That's an awesome reef! I have a high flow sump so it does get plenty of flow behind the rocks i personally like having more open area in front i was just curious what others think of how mine looks

Personal choice is fine. Looks good to me!

Thanks. What are those corals you have that look like pheasant back mushrooms lol the pink ones that have all the flat levels?

In the middle, pink toadstool leathers. I had just the one and it grew a sister! Ugh! I need to frag one out soon. They are monsters!

Well you filmed a horizontal thing vertically, and zoomed in, so...I can't really say. Besides they probably aren't going to look good without coral or something on them anyways. They are just rocks, you can't expect too much!

Don't forget your little buddy! Love those things!

Just kidding. I'm hoping my Japanese Willow will turn out something that size. I used to have a golden green toad stool that was growing huge. However, I lost it for some reason I know not which although I'm sure it was my fault.

OP - personal preference. I think you got some sound advice here!
