I have an established Nano reef, and recently noticed this on one piece of LR . Any ideas greatly received .kinda looks like a clear jelly. Not gone in there yet to investigate further ! Mayb contagious if disturbed [emoji3][emoji16]

Look close to see if it has pores. May be sponge.

There's a few peeps on here that have knowledge of assessing that sludge. I don't remember specifically who. #reefsquad? Who are the sludge people?

Hi Guys , can anyone shed some light on this please? It's like a bulbous deep red growth . I have two seperate ones growing on different pieces of live rock.

That doesn't look quite the same, but I could see how this could be a similar species. Can you pull one out (carefully)? A closer shot would help.
