I noticed this growing under my favia today. I had gloves on doing maintenance so I touched it. Could see it move but not enough to see really what it is. Maybe a tube worm of some kind? Good or bad?

If I ever make it home to see it on my computer I'll have a better idea, I'm stranded at an airport. Until then hopefully someone else has a better idea what it is.

Is it bad for it to grow on the favia skeleton?
no. google them. pretty neat animal. filter feeder like sponges. Id guess IF the coral grows there itll push it off.
The coral has bout 3 billion years of evolution on the squirt. :D
