So I have a 25 gallon cube with a 5 gallon sump. It’s been running for 4 weeks. I have 2 Mexican turbos 2 Trochus. I also have 2 clowns and 1 royal Gramma.

I just started a chaeto refugium over the weekend.


The PO4 is pretty high running about .25-.5 (using API don’t castrate me please. Buying a Hanna this weekend).

My tank is covered in what I believe to be GHA.

Am I correct in thinking this?

Definitely looks like gha. Manual removal is a must, from there a strong cuc helps to keep it at bay.
Hermits do a lot for it once cut down.

I also have a 120w black box (was free. Reefing on a budget atm. Don’t kill me ) running 3 hours 30% blue 4 hours 10%white 30%blue and then 3hours 30%blue.
