15 C - expected the same tomorrow, But we have had the highest average may temperature ever. Uppsala - average temp 16.1 C (14.3 C 1833) start measurements 1739. Gothenburg average maj temperature 17,6 (15,8 C 1889) start measure 1859. It has been around 2 degree C over the average temperature for may in the whole country this month. That is very much.

Update - I have done some test and the pH readings I saw seems not to be connected with my dose of CaCl * H2O - even if it looks like that in the first sight. My daily swing is back and I still dose the amount CaCl as I did when the daily swing stopped. I have calibrate the probe - but do not think that this was the problem - it show to high values. Bot still - the question - what a heck is this? It looks like inhibit photosynthesis but - really do not know.

didn't you dose a big dose of Cacl2 at one time? now that its back to regular dosing maybe its good?

I think phytoplankton or cyanobacteria the cause

This is my hypothesis. We all know that photosynthesis species produce oxygen when sun up. In a reef, this adds to dissolved oxygen to water.higher dissolved oxygen will increase ph. When lights turn off , there's a reversal of photosynthesis. This will effect ph lower. Plus corals also contribute to this process. Thus lower ph.

Now you need to determine what time of the day ph is dropping.
