I don’t know what to do

So I’m looking to finally start adding coral to my tank. I’d love to add an anemone into the tank but I don’t want it to sting the other corals I’m looking at buying while it’s trying to find its spot. So I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to add the anemone to the tank first? I would feed it if needed and I have a clown that I hope will host it. What do you guys think I should do.

My bubble tips tend to stay place. I really think that they only move a lot if something is stressing them. If you don't have sandbed corals and have strong lights, long tentical anemones are great.

They can move at anytime, so be prepared for them to do that. Although generally, if they find a spot they will like they will stay there.

One suggestion for getting the clown to host, is put them both in a small bucket for a little while until they find each other. That will increase the odds they will stay together in the tank.

Yes I absolutely agree you should add the nem first. Let it move around and find a home and THEN add your corals.

BTA's are generally safe and will stay in the same spot if you have the lighting it needs. If it isn't in a good spot it will tend to move around. absolutely agree with KellyCorals best to let the nem settle and then you could add the other corals

Will flow also be a factor in where they decide to stay?

the nem will likely stay in a place with good flow (I prefer a medium for my RBTA) and proper lighting

Flow and lighting will be the factors! I added a RBTA near the bottom of my tank with low flow. Within 3 days it has moved to the top of the rock structure it was on and has stayed there for a few weeks now. Stronger lighting and flow in that spot! Definitely lower chances of it stinging corals if you get one first and allow it to settle. Best of luck! ;Joyful
