I missed this comment……free is good…..I’m always skeptical
this tank I was super skeptical because the guy was telling me he’d had several ppl look at it and ultimately passed. Said he had just had it resealed but decided he didn’t want to deal with cleaning it up
Sounded too good to be true to me so I cleaned it up…..literally 9 hours of scraping and scrubbing and a lot of “what the heck’s” …..and immediately put 35 gallons of water in it and it held perfectly (minus evap) over a week…..I’m gonna completely fill it in the next day or 2 to see how it holds at capacity before I get too deep
but that leads me to a question that’s been in the back of my mind……I don’t mind the black trim on the bottom so much per se, but is it possible to remove the black plastic trim around the top edge without compromising the structural integrity of the tank???
