Kenya, Xenia and GSP in the same tank, love it!

Its your creation and if you want to add aptasia, fireworms and gorilla crabs - ITS YOUR CREATION

ENJOY !!!

I think people grossly exaggerate how these corals can become a "problem. I literally have a mountain of gsp in my 180. It covers a complete rock structure taking up 1/3 of the tank. It looks awseome swaying in the current. I also have kenya trees growing.

JUst keep up with trimming them back when needed and you'll have no issues.

And lfs LOVE to get these as trade ins. They usually don't ship whole on the wholesale level, so LFS are usually hesitant to order them. I have satisfied my chalice/monti addiction by selling $5-$10 frags of gsp and kenya trees to my lfs.

GSP RULES (at least in my tank, by choice ) I too have a good third, going on half, of the tank covered in it. Even when it was small it was the first thing noticed by guests. Time for a GSP grow out contest! Has anyone else gotten creative with the trimmings?

Last years Christmas tree.;Hilarious

Love the softies. It literally takes no effort to keep any of them confined. I still do not understand why people preface these corals as invasive.

As stated before, most local stores will gladly take the shavings or trimmings for credit too.

Fireworms and gorilla crabs - here I come! I don't want aptasia. Maybe I'll majano and ball anemones though...

Haha nice. My clove polyps are taking over.. maybe faster than the GSP …

Xenia's will spread everywhere. I keep them in my anemone tank and love them.

Hmmmmm I should get some clove polyps
These all started as one little frag each (three frags total one GSP and two types of Clove Polyps) back in sept 2020. I fragged each colony once to spread them a bit.. they grow like weeds. They look great under the blue light too.. like avatar. (Glass is a bit dirty)
