Okay, every once in a while, I get pestered into talking about what I think are some cool pieces we have in inventory right now...

A few people actually goaded me into it, so I will share with you some of the pieces that I think are kind of cool. I'm not saying these are rare, "LE", etc.- Just stuff that I happen to like. As you know, my taste is a bit weird, so what I like may be like, "OMG that's ugly!" to you.

Anyways, here are some of Scott's current "likes":

UC1andhalfinch-RG-super-red-cyphastrea-frag-48.jpg

I dig the intensity on this ReefGen "Super Red" Cyphastrea...a nice change from the usual "Meteor Shower" morph...

UC3inch-seriatopora-sp-bali-mari-pink-birdsnest-colony-78.jpg

A BIRDSNEST? SERIOUSLY, FELLMAN? Yeha, it's only like the coolest coral EVER! Besides, the classic pink is awesome.

UC4inch-acropora-sp-bali-deepwater--acro-colony-98.jpg

Something about the tabling-shaped "Deepwater" Acros that I like. This one looks way nicer in person to me than in pics...Now I wanna do a "deepwater" tank. See what you made me do?

UC3inch-super-red-indo-blasto-wellsi-colony-178.jpg

Another common one that stands out because of the sheer "common/uncommon" factor. It has been a weird year for Blastos..This one is not crazy, as they go- just nice. And nice Blastos were relatively uncommon in 2014, IMHO.

Little Fungia always make me smile. Especially little Aussie ones with hot color, like this 1.5" cutie.

Rainbow Acans are always nice...This one just caught my eyes...

UC4inch-acro-sp-green-slimer-stag-lg-frag-68.jpg

Totally ugly frag, but an undeniably cool coral. How could you not like ANYTHING called a "Green Slimer?" Huh?

UC2inch-orange-rhodactis-mushroom-specimen-48.jpg

I dig Mushroom Corals because I fantasize about doing a tank with a substrate composed entirely of them...Yeah, ok. I like the contrast on this one...

What is this thing? I suppose I have to call Jake (Adams) and get the whole lecture..

Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Love those Aussie Acro colonies...

Okay, enough is enough...I selected a few...if you like any of them (and you should...), you know where to find them!

Thanks!

Good call on the pink birds nest. Believe it or not it took me a long time to track down a chunk of that stuff. I know it sounds weird but some of my favorite corals are the regular run of the mill stuff like Kenya trees, GSP, leathers, birds nests etc. [emoji106]

This may be random but lately I've really wanted a frag of neon green purple tip frogspawn which was pretty common to me about 5 yrs ago but now I'd rather have a frag of that then some of the crazier euphyllia such as gold torches etc.

Yes, I believe there were some CITES limitations on Frogspawn, and it's made what used to be a "common" or "novice" coral a sort of collector's piece! And, it's just one of the coolest of the Euphyllia anyways!
