I don't know what else to do with this

It detached about a week ago from a plug. I've put it into this box with a rock going to get it to attract to the rock. It seemed to fold itself in half.

Usually after a day or two it falls off the rock.

I don’t have good pictures, but I find they do best in a “branchy” type of rock, tucked into the corner of the tank....... let them decide how/where to latch onto it. And if they blow off, you will “eventually” find them. They are hardy
