I don't know what to do guys: size tank

I bought this biocube, 14 gallon, don't like it, took it down. I have my 3 gallon, won't take this down (My first real tank and everything is doing really great) coral only. I want bigger but not too big and definitely not too small. I can't seem to find a happy medium. I was thinking of a 55 gallon cube, this guy has for sale, but I want a real looking reef with cool looking fish. I want a nice display tank. Rimless, overflows....etc.

A 55 cube sounds interesting...I really like cube tanks! I've also seen some cool 40 breeder reef tanks. If you can go any bigger, maybe look into a 75g, 93 corner, or a 120 even for good dimensions...or most any size cube...

I really like the 60 cubes. They are a little more readily available and have a very nice foot print 24"x24"x24" which is a perfect size for most led fixtures and can get t5's to supplement for relatively cheap at 24"

Or if you like the larger footprint of a 4ft tank a 55 is always a good start up tank plus you can use most equipment on bigger 4' tanks if you decide to upgrade one day

57 rimless is a nice size tank. I love mine. You can also look into the 48" deep blue rimless think it's 80 gallon and do a nice shallow reef.

If you go with a 4' tank, you should go with a 75g. More room front to back. It will give you more options for your aquascape!

Yeah I really like the way cubes look. Rimless is what I'm going for, they just have that clean look. I want to be able to have a nice aquascape and not have to run it long ways. I want to be able to keep gradually adding to it (corals) and no run out of room quickly. I want something that's "going to last". A nice mixed reef. Thanks for the reply guys

I have a 60 rimless cube. I have to clean outside glass often and I wish I would have searched longer for an overflow centered on back glass instead of corner. My only 2 gripes.

That's nice, I like the rimless tanks. Cube or anything rimless I'm fine with, I just want a good distance from the front to back of display.

On my next one I think I might go 30" but currently it is very hard to reach center of the back overflow at only 26" back. I will make the next one at least 60" wide or wider. This one is a David V. Custom built tank.

Also I will put the overflow on the outside since the piping is already running back there it wouldn't take up extra space.
