I dont know whats happening?

I dosed some f aiptasia on one of the aiptasia in my tank. Tirned on the skimmer it started overflowing. So i cleaned the cup with water, wnd microfiber towels. Turned it on. And its going absolutely nuts. Orp went to 0 . I have no idea whats going on right now.

did you turn off all flow for 30 minutes like the instructions say?

not uncommon with dosing certain items like medications.
I am not familiar with that one in particular and if it advises to keep skimmer on or shut skimmer off. If it does not address it in the instructions then feel free to just shut off the skimmer for the next 12-24 hours. Its doing no harm here other than making a mess perhaps.

Dang that's a lot of foam from hitting one aiptasia. I've not used f aiptasia but have used aiptasia x on numerous ones at once with no effect on the skimmer. Must be different stuff in the x I guess
EDIT. As stated tho just turnoff the skimmer for a while, it won't hurt anything.

Happened to my HOB last week. At least you have a sump. You could put oil(vege, peanut, olive) in the chamber to help pop the foam. Do not let it back in the sump.

Interesting, I just turn the circulation pumps off when using F aiptasia. Never seen that reaction, except when I use putty for fragging.
