option for posts to display newest to oldest in a thread

Not a core function, but there is an addon for it (PM'd link to Rev)

They, and some others, are after the option for posts to display newest to oldest in a thread (as opposed to the standard oldest to newest). My understanding is there was a setting like that in the old VB platform (not something I ever used).

Yep. It was a customizable option that users could select whether they wanted to view a thread oldest post to newest or newest to oldest (ascending vs. descending order).

Yea I never used this option either and not many do. That's why it's not a basic option in this software.

Oh this is by design so that the site is responsive to mobile devices. Those side bars are not gone, they just get pushed to the bottom.

Funny after we switched from vb3 to vb4 we had those who hated that as well. But they had more of a reason to hate it since it was VB4! Ha!

Thanks Adam! It's a lot of work and takes time but it's getting better! I'm going to post some screen shots of the old one vs the new one to show the difference soon!

Not sure if this is a feedback thread, but I noticed that the "click to expand" text is very hard to see.

Another Problem.

I look for certain Vendors to read their posts specifically.

It was quick and super easy before.

Now I have to strain my eyes and it seems like it takes forever to find what I am looking for.

If I didn't like this site so much I would leave and never come back.

If any other internet site switched to this I would have already left.

I try to be Positive with everything in life but with this I just cannot.

If it is an upgrade why has nothing improved?

It all took a turn for the worse.
